NOBL Beverages is thrilled to announce the launch of NOBL Flash Brew, a breakthrough in cold coffee that redefines freshness and flavor.
Using our proprietary flash-chill process, we can take a freshly brewed batch of pourover-style coffee from 195F to under 40F rapidly, allowing us to lock in subtle flavors that are dramatically different from our existing cold brew process. The result: a bright, bold cup of coffee that captures the truest expression of its origin.
What makes Flash Brew different?
The cold coffee landscape changed when the FDA recall forced Snapchill to shut down, leaving a gap in the ready-to-drink category. Consumers are still craving convenient, high-quality cold coffee, and Flash Brew answers that call. Unlike shelf-stable distribution, our process ensures a fresh, refrigerated product that never compromises on taste or safety.
Is It Safe?
Yes, 100%. Snapchill’s issue was tied to its claim of ambient shelf-stability, which requires specialized FDA-regulated safeguards against foodborne illnesses like botulism.
NOBL Flash Brew’s process is different. It is brewed fresh and kept refrigerated from start to finish, just like other perishable products. As long as it is stored properly in a refrigerator, our Flash Brew is safe for its full shelf life.
The Flavor Advantage
What makes NOBL Flash Brew unique is the way it locks in flavor. By rapidly chilling fresh-brewed coffee, we preserve its natural notes, which are often muted by slower chilling methods. Think of it like flash-freezing vegetables at peak freshness; the taste and vibrancy stay intact.
Expect a cup that is:
- Bright & Fruity: reminiscent of a pour-over brewed moments ago.
- Layered & Complex: highlighting the origin of the beans so you can taste the nuance of the unique origin and roast.
We sourced the coffee for the Flash Brew from the Northern Province of Zambia, using a sun-dried/natural process coffee to highlight its blueberry and butterscotch tasting notes.
NOBL’s Flash Brew vs. Cold Brew
Both NOBL Flash Brew and Cold Brew start with the same NOBL brewing process, but the difference lies in how they are chilled:
- Flash Brew: Rapid chilling delivers a lighter, brighter, and fruity profile.
- Cold Brew: Long Cold brew times deliver a smooth chocolate like flavor with a less brightness and acidity.
Coffee drinkers may prefer one over the other, much like choosing between roast styles or regions of origin, but both are rich-flavored and delicious. Both are infused with Nitrogen and will cascade in a glass if you shake and pour.
