What’s the Buzz around Nitro Cold Brew?

It’s one of the most popular coffee trends out there, but what's really the buzz around nitro-infused cold brew?

How’s it Made?

We start with locally-sourced artisan coffee beans and brew them in cold water for 20 hours. To guarantee the freshest drink possible, our cold brew process is refrigerated the second the coffee hits the water.

Then the fun part: we infuse the cold brew with nitrogen in 5-gallon kegs. Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, unreactive gas that gives nitro cold brew it’s distinctive frothy texture and caffeine boost.

The kegs are shipped off to locations throughout New England to be tapped, poured, and enjoyed at your local cafes, pubs, shops, universities, business offices, hotels and more.

What’s it Taste Like?

Nitro cold brew is smoother and less acidic than traditional iced coffee, making it satisfying and healthier to drink without dairy or sugar additives.

It has a thick or creamy consistency with many describing the mouth feel as that of a Guinness beer. By using similar draft equipment found in bars for dispensing stouts and porters, nitro cold brew even has a frothy, beer-like head.

Also, nitro coffee contains about 1.5 times more caffeine per ounce than regular coffee to further boost your alertness and productivity.

Why’s it So Popular?

It’s simple, 4 reasons why you should be a part of the nitro movement:

1. It’s healthier than standard drip coffee.

Without the need for dairy or sugar additives, you can enjoy the health benefits of coffee’s natural antioxidant power.

2. It’s cost-effective for businesses.

Nitro-infusing coffee equipment is easy to maintain and its overwhelming popularity boosts sales.

3. It can be dressed up.

Nitro coffee makes for a killer espresso martini.

4. It tastes great!

You just have to try it and see for yourself.
